Abstract
Transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) has emerged as a well-established treatment for severe aortic stenosis. Acute infective endocarditis (AIE) represents a rare severe complication following this procedure. Currently, there are no definitive guideline recommendations for management of such infective endocarditis (IE). This study presented a case of delayed thrombosis after TAVR, which subsequently developed into AIE. The patient eventually underwent surgical treatment and showed significant improvement.
