  • Objective To observe and analyze the clinical efficacy of compound Lidocaine cream in relieving puncture pain of indwelling venous needle.Methods 60 patients with puncture pain of indwelling venous needle treated by compound Lidocaine cream were divided into experi-mental group and control group according to their different treatment methods with 30 patients in each group.The control group was given puncture treatment by indwelling venous needle after con-ventional skin sterilization and the experimental group was given puncture treatment by indwelling venous needle after compound Lidocaine cream.Pain degree and satisfaction degree of two groups after treatment were observed and compared.Results VAS score was greatly higher in the experi-mental group (4.2±1.4)than that in the control group (2.8±1.1),so the difference between two groups was statistically significant (P <0.05).Satisfaction degree of experimental group with 96.67%(29 /30)was higher than that in the control group with 80.00%(24 /30),the difference between two groups was statistically significant(P <0.05).Conclusion Compound Lidocaine cream can relieve puncture pain of indwelling venous needle,lower AVS score and improve satisfac-tion degree of patients.And it is simply operated,cheap in price and low in adverse reactions,so it can be widely promoted in clinic.
